Every now and then, it is important to step back and take a long view. As this week ends, Marymount Academy would like to announce the following, and celebrate them!
First, the city has recently released the schedule of vaccination for children ages 5 to 11. Here are some of its main locations. We highly encourage all students to get vaccinated to help contain the current surge.

Second, we would like to report that as per the last health survey conducted, 84% percent of the school community has now reported to be healthy. We thank the Lord very much for this, as we continue to pray for healing for those who are still recuperating.

Lastly, the school community celebrates two of its recent accomplishments. Last January 17, 2022, Ms. Chelsea Tambunting, our Director for Special Projects, participated in the 2022 13th International Conference on E-Education, E-Business, E-Management and E-Learning (IC4E 2022) based in Tokyo, Japan. She now has a published paper entitled Fostering Inclusive Education in the Online Sphere. In this conference, she joined academic researchers from all over the world, with her co-authors being representatives of Everest Academy BGC and St. Catherine College QC. Likewise, last January 20, our Executive Director Joy Tambunting was awarded by the Coordinating Council of Private Educational Associations of the Philippines (COCOPEA) for her legislative contributions to the sector of education.
Let us remain steadfast in our faith as we go through these extraordinary times. In Mary, Seat of Wisdom, Handmaid of the Lord, Marymount Academy roots for you as we courageously work for a better present, and future, together.
